Jim Abbatemarco

Jim Abbatemarco was named Executive Vice President, Chief Retail Officer in January 2025. In this role, Mr. Abbatemarco leads all facets of Retail Operations, as well as Loss Prevention, ensuring the safety and security of the Company’s Health Enthusiast associates, customers, and retail assets. Additionally, he provides strategic leadership for the company’s Construction Department, playing a key role in driving store expansion and growth initiatives.

2025 marks Mr. Abbatemarco’s 20-year anniversary with The Vitamin Shoppe. Prior to his current role, he was VP, Retail Operations. In 2023, Mr. Abbatemarco was honored with The Vitamin Shoppe’s Legacy Award for his outstanding leadership, commitment to business results, and dedication to developing and empowering his team.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Abbatemarco held retail leadership positions at Kids “R” Us and Toys “R” Us. He earned a BS in Business Administration from Indiana University.
