David Kastin

David Kastin serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of The Vitamin Shoppe®. In this role, he oversees the company’s Legal, Lease Administration, and Scientific & Regulatory Affairs functions, playing a key role in advancing The Vitamin Shoppe’s commitment to industry-leading quality, innovation, and expertise across its health and wellness platform.

Mr. Kastin was named to his current role at The Vitamin Shoppe in June 2025, following its acquisition by Kingswood Capital Management, LP and Performance Investment Partners, LLC. He previously served as General Counsel from 2015 to 2020, providing trusted legal guidance during a period of significant transformation for the company.

With more than two decades of legal and executive experience, Mr. Kastin has served as lead counsel for both public and private companies across the consumer, retail, and wellness sectors. His previous roles include senior legal positions at Bed Bath & Beyond, Clever Leaves International, Town Sports International, and Toys “R” Us. Earlier in his career, he practiced corporate and securities law at several leading New York law firms, including Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, and served as a regional Staff Attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mr. Kastin holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from The George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from the Cardozo School of Law.
